A NEW feature has been added to the forum today…

WHAT new board feature has been added to xpostcardx today?
It is NOT a new skin.
It is something EVERY member can access and use.
I have left a clue in my profile.

I have not told anyone of this feature (not even your Moderators or Co-Admin(s)), nor have I discussed this feature or any other additions to come in the following days, weeks, and months to come with ANY xpostcardx member. Nor will I.

In addition to sending OUT her gift notification, I will also state here that Bonnie is eligible to add 10 new "emotions" to the list - AS WELL AS receiving her gift via postal mail (NO additional hints there, my Bonnie lass)! |

New avatars have been added.
These can be viewed/modified through your personal "modify profile" page.
Simply scroll down the Avatar list and choose one, changes will not take affect until you click the "modify profile" button.
* This change does not affect the original option to upload your own avatar image to your profile.

I have created an input box in the profile of every user. When you MODIFY your profile, you will be able to individually input a hex color, which will be the color of your chosen display name. Note: Your colored name will only appear in your mini profile. Preview: click* hex color codes |

If you have an avatar in your profile, it will now link to your profile just as your name does.

It is not an avatar.
It may not be for everyone...
It can ONLY be found and utilized in your own personal Profile.
But once used, it is viewable by anyone who sees posts by you or vsits your profile. (board members only)
It is completely your choice to use this feature, as it allows other members to get much more personal.
Anyone?

I'm still trying to decide if I want to give it a try.... so anyone who is comfortable and enjoys it, give a shout out as to pros/cons etc.  I always seem to be one social network behind the curve -- that's why I tag along with all you youngins' all the time!!!  |
