Once you have become a member, we advise that you post a member bio/introduction as soon as possible.
This can be a single or multiple paragraph about yourself containing as little or as much information as you'd like to reveal to the other members of this board. Some examples of info you may want to include are general likes/dislikes, musical taste, hobbies, etc. Inclusion of your postal address within your bio is also highly advised, as this allows other members to immediately send you snail mail.
If you prefer not to post your address, please leave a comment within your profile that you wish to be contacted personally in regards to obtaining this information. And understand too, that failure to include your address in an accessible area such as your Bio may preclude you from RAoK, random surprise mailings and secret admirers (
). PX is, after all, a postal related community.
You may also include your snail mail address within your profile signature, for easy reference to those wishing to send you postal goodness. Remember though, that while the Member Bio & Introduction forum is viewable ONLY by registered members, if you include your postal address within your signature and post upon non-secure (Guest Chatter & FAQ) forums, your signature may also be viewed by non/prosepective members.
Another option is to simply include a link to your Bio in the Member Bio & Introduction forum within your signature, rather than your actual address. This will still maintain a degree of easy access to those members who may wish to send you snail mail by providing them a quick way to your profile; all the while precluding non-members access (as this forum is secured) from viewing your information contained therein.

The option to provide your email address to other members to completely up to you. If you do not wish for your email to be viewed via your mini (clickable) profile, simply select the NO option in your personal Profile database. Voila!
